2020 J-HAWK FOOTBALL AWARDS

Beginning in the fall of 2012, at the suggestion of Head Coach Brian Webb, the season end awards will henceforth be attributed to deserving former J-Hawk football players and coaches who demonstrated an outstanding contribution to the gridiron. They will forever live in our hearts and on the pages of Jefferson Football's excellent history.

Bob Ask was a member of the first J-Hawk varsity football staff, serving from 1957 through 1981. His efforts produced three state championships, three state runner-ups, and eight MVC conference championships. The overall winning percentage of his teams during that quarter century was over 75%.

He served as Social Studies Department Chair and is in the Faculty Hall of Fame. Bob authored "High on a Hill" chronicling the initial 25 year history covering all facets of Jefferson High.
